I’m Tess. I work in theatrical film marketing, where I spend most of my time figuring out how to make a movie feel like more than just something playing on a screen.

My work has taken me through a lot of different sides of the theater business, from working directly with exhibitors and building in-theater campaigns to promotions, events, audience experiences, and all the little things that can make going to the movies feel special.

I also just really love this industry. I love old theaters, Hollywood history, movie marketing, the business behind films, and probably thinking way too much about why some movies connect with people and others don’t.
